Cheerful Special Home is a non profit organization initiated with an intention of providing learning to the children with mental chellenges.
The registration of Cheerful Special Home was done by the Ministery of Gender, Women and Children Affairs as a Comunity Based Organization.
Cheerful Special Home provides the children with food, shelter, clothes and everything else they need.
Our Vision:

Our Programmes:
The Home
This is where we are based. Here is where we translate our motto "mentally challenged are trainable" into reality.
Currently 23 children live in the home where we provide them with training and take care of all their needs and we hope to add more in the future.
All the children go to Mathaithi primary school where there is a special unit and special trained teachers.
During school breaks all the children go back home to spend time with their relatives.
Home Based
This covers mentally challenged children whom we visit at their homes on rotational basis. It has 25 children. Our cardinal duty is to:
give guidance and counsel parents. Advice them on nutrition, especially for autistic children to control hyperactivity
Train parents on how to improvise some devices using local materials
Guide parents on how to train these children to feed, bathe and toilet independently.
